IN MEMORIUM

Dr. Ada Harrington Belton

Former NADE President

Not only was Dr. Ada Harrington Belton a Past President of NADE, she was a Co-Chair of the Cultural Diversity Committee and assisted with the organization of the Cultural Diversity events at NADE conferences. She brought a heightened understanding of all cultures through the charming and dazzling performances of beautiful music and dance of other countries, performed by the children and adults from the regions in the cities where the conference events took place. She encouraged networking between NADE members to increase professional development activities, research endeavors, and the sharing of employment opportunities. A leader in education at her university, she also was a personal friend, and is sorely missed by all. Those who share her values may honor her memory by perpetuating her vision.
